Recruiting
Direct hire
Direct hire is a hiring model where a recruiter finds and screens a candidate who then becomes your permanent employee on your own payroll.
In a direct hire, the recruiter does the search, and you make the offer. Once the candidate accepts, they work for your company, not for the recruiter. You manage them, pay them and offer benefits like any other employee.
This model suits roles you plan to keep, such as an office manager or full-time executive assistant. It saves you the work of sourcing and early vetting. Fees and guarantees vary by firm, so ask what happens if the hire does not work out. See direct hire vs staffing agency.
Peachtree VA's recruitment services say clients save an average of 42 days in vetting, and we take a limited number of searches each month. Learn more on our recruitment services page.
