CRM (customer relationship management)
A CRM, or customer relationship management system, is software that tracks contacts, conversations and sales follow-ups in one shared place.
A CRM stores the details of every lead and customer: names, emails, notes, deals and next steps. It reminds you when to follow up and shows where each sale stands. Common systems range from simple spreadsheets to full cloud platforms.
For a small business, a CRM keeps relationships from living in one person's inbox or memory. It also makes it easy to hand work to an assistant. A virtual assistant can update records, send reminders and clean the data, as long as you give clear rules in a standard operating procedure.
Peachtree VA's assistants can help with this kind of upkeep. See our VA services for the support we offer, or read what to hand off in our delegation guide.
