# QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks Online is cloud accounting software, made by Intuit, that small businesses widely use to track income, expenses, invoices and reports.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) is accounting software that runs in a web browser. It connects to bank and card accounts, imports transactions, creates invoices and builds reports. Several people can use it at once, such as an owner, a bookkeeper and a CPA.

For a small business, QBO is a common standard, so many bookkeepers and accountants already know it. Shared access means your CPA can see the same books your bookkeeper maintains.
